5.CHADAR TREK, LEH

The word ‘Chadar’ in Hindi translates to ‘ sheet’ in English. That is exactly what this trek has to offer you, a sheet of ice. This trek is over the Zanskar river which lies frozen in the winter. The trek begins from the small village of Leh, Chilling, reaching there could be a challenge in itself. The easiest would be fly to Leh airport and then drive to Chilling. This trek covers the journey from Chilling to Zanskar valley taking you to the elevation of 11,123 feet. On the trail, you have to pass across the Zanskar river which is frozen and requires a high amount of attention. The temperature would fall down to -15 to -30 degrees and requires you to stay inside caves and igloos. But, at the same time, it will give you one hell of an experience.

The best time to go for this trek is February when the ice is most stable.

The cost of this trek is approximately 22,000 – 25,000 per person.

4.PIN PARVATI TREK, HIMACHAL PRADESH

Pin Parvati Trek is one of the toughest treks of the Himalayan ranges. It will take you from the green Parvati valley , beautiful landscapes of Kullu to the enchanting beauty of Pin Parvati Pass. The trek is 100 km long, you will be wished by the steep rocky and snow-capped mountains to climb on, freezing terrains ad heavy snowfall or rain. The trek requires you to be full of strength and a tough trekker. Its altitude and long distance which would take up to 11 days to cover make it the one of the toughest treks. 3.KINNAUR KAILASH TREK, HIMACHAL PRADESH

2. GOECHA LA TREK, SIKKIM
