How to reach?

BY ROAD: There are no direct buses from New Delhi to Kasol. You can catch a bus from Delhi and it would drop you at Bhunter, which is at a distance of 30 km from Kasol. From here on you can catch the local bus  or hire a local taxi. Another way you can get to this place is via Kullu. Get down at Kullu, which is at a distance of 40 km from Kasol. Again, a local bus or hire a cab which will carry you to this village.

For a convenient traveling, you can hire a cab with Wiwigo directly from Delhi to Kasol.

BY AIR: The nearest airport to Kasol is Bhunter. You can further hire a cab to reach Kasol.

BY RAILWAYS: There are very few trains that will take you to Kasol. The nearest railway station to Kasol is 150 km away. So, a journey by train is not suggested.

Where to stay?

Ranging from the cheapest to best one, Kasol has all types of places for you to stay. The price per night in most of the places to stay here ranges from Rs 500- 1500. If you really want to explore the true side of Kasol, best would be ditch a luxurious hotel and stay at a cafe or small hotel amid the number of Israelis.

There are number cafes in Kasol which offers the best Tibetan and Israeli food with the open seating. You can totally enjoy the great food with the river flowing along and mountains in front of you.

1. KHEER GANGA TREK

 Trekking is one of the most famous activity to do when you are in Kasol. Kheer Ganga trek being the most famous trek of Kasol. This trek will take on a trail to tranquil mountains alongside the waters of Ganga. The short trek of 9 km can be covered in four hours. And you complete your trek you will be welcomed by a hot water spring. What’s better than dipping in the hot waters after you come tired from the trekking trail? Absolutely nothing.

2. MANIKARAN SAHIB

Manikaran is located at a favorable distance of 6 km from Kasol. You can walk this short distance or catch a vehicle, whatever your deal may be. Manikaran Sahib is a gurudwara nestled between the mighty hills and river Beas. The high point of the gurudwara is a hot water spring which is believed to consist the magical properties to cure your illness if you take a dip.The most special thing about this gurudwara is that apart from Sikh gurus there are pictures of Hindu and Christian gods .The messages couldn’t have been clearer; everyone is welcome and all faiths are respected.

3. MALANA TREK

 If you are looking for adventure at another level, then you must go for Malana trek from Kasol. This trek is difficult and adventurous. The trek is full of rocky mountains and steep climbs. At times you will have to walk the path with no road or way what so ever. But, at the end, this trek will take you another world. With the glimpse of snow-capped mountains and hills decorated with deodar trees. If you are here at the right time, you can also the

beauty of snow covering the village. Malana is a village which runs its own government and is believed to successors of Alexander. The outsiders are allowed to move but not allowed to touch their walls, houses etc. If you do, be ready to pay a fine!

4. CAMPING

 Kasol is also a famous site for camping. It offers the beautiful camping sites which are safe for females too. You can totally plan your girlfriends trip here. You can try camping at the valleys and the river Parvati flowing aside. The sunrise and sunset are to look for.
